Your Ultimate Caribbean Cruise Amazon Shopping List
After 20+ sailings, I’ve learned the ins and outs on what you absolutely must have onboard a cruise ship when vacationing in the Caribbean. Packing for a cruise is different than other vacations. You need swimwear, formalwear, possible theme night outfits, athletic wear, beach essentials….oh, and the room to store all of this in will more than likely be TINY. Not trying to be a downer, because I LOVE cruises, but I’ve found they’re much more enjoyable when you have all of the proper necessities!
Here is the ultimate list of essentials from Amazon for your next Caribbean Cruise sailing.

MUST HAVE AMAZON CRUISE ITEMS
MESH LAUNDRY BAGVacation = no cooking or cleaning…so NO LAUNDRY! But, you can simplify packing up at the end of your trip and doing the laundry when you get back home. Wanna get super organized? Use multiple laundry bags and sort whites, darks and delicates!
MAGNETIC TRAVEL GAMES FOR THE KIDSWant to dry your hair and eat in peace? Bring some small activities for the kids. Wi-Fi is often expensive, the tv channels are not fabulous, but bring along some checkers, coloring books or wiki sticks, and you’re all set! Plus, I love the break from screen time!
LANYARD OR CARD HOLDERYour key card is used for SO many things. From opening your door, to paying for drinks and getting on/off the ship. Be sure to keep it handy by using a lanyard or card holder that attaches to your phone. EAR PLUGS
Cruise ship walls are not overly thick, and depending on the location of your room (near engines, night clubs, buffets, etc.) you may encounter some noise. It’s a great idea to bring ear plugs to prevent any sounds from disrupting your much-deserved vacation R&R. POO POURRI
Small rooms. Multiple people. Endless food. This one is pretty self-explanatory. WATERPROOF PHONE CASE OR GOPRO
There’s a good chance you’re going to encounter some of the most gorgeous water and ocean life you’ve ever seen. Don’t miss out on being able to capture it! Be sure to invest in a waterproof phone case or GoPro that you can use while snorkeling, or just to protect your phone near the water LARGE BEACH BAG
Many people choose to spend their port days just hanging out on nearby beaches… make this more efficient by bringing a LARGE beach bag. You don’t have to pack towels, as the cruise line will have them, but having a bag large enough to carry them in is a must! This bag is my absolute FAVORITE!

HANGING BATHROOM ORGANIZER
Onboard, anything you can do to maximize space is important. There is not a lot of counter space in the restrooms, so to keep your necessities organized and accessible, a hanging bathroom organizer can be a great item to bring! CRUISE CABIN NIGHT LIGHT
Imagine this. Kids are asleep, you need to use the restroom, you get up, trip over shoes kids left in the floor, wake everyone up at 2am, and then deal with cranky people for the next two days. Easy way to prevent it? This cruise cabin night light that magnetically attaches to your cabin walls. Perfection! PORTABLE PHONE CHARGER
Excursions are often super long, and you take gazillions of pictures, so your phone battery will tank quickly. Don’t miss out on begin able to take that shot of a lifetime from your phone because your battery is dead! ALOE VERA
Chances are you won’t forget the sunscreen, but there’s a good chance you’ll forget the aloe. Hopefully you’ll reapply often enough to not need it, but Caribbean sun is strong, so be sure to bring this relief aid just in case! STAINLESS STRAWS
We love the effort to protect the environment…but we also love our straws. Don’t forget the rubber tips to protect your teeth! SNORKEL MASK
This snorkel mask is a game changer. No more fumbling around with a mouthpiece sucking in water while trying to figure out how to get your nose to fit in your goggles. Love this mask option for kids and adults! TOWEL CLIPS
There’s a constant ocean breeze while cruising. This is a wonderful thing…unless you want your towel to stay firmly in place while sunbathing. Towel clips are a quick fix for this…and they also help you find your chair and belongings easily! BONINE
This is my go-to motion sickness aid. I recommend taking it 24-48 hours before sailing so you have a good base of it in your system. It’s MUCH easier to PREVENT motion sickness than it is to stop it, so be sure to plan ahead!

MAGNETIC CRUISE CABIN HOOKS
Surprise – the walls in your stateroom are metal! Use magnetic hooks to keep hats, sweaters and important paperwork within reach. CRUISE CABIN HANGING ORGANIZER
I’m a bit insanely OCD about my room on vacation being organized. If I wanted to be in a cluttered room, I’d have stayed home JTame the clutter and maximize the space with one of the many styles of hanging organizers available. NOTE! Be sure to get the suction kind or the kind that hang in a closet, as over the door organizers are not permitted on many cruise lines. There are several styles available, so you may want to utilize more than one. I really like having one for shoes and another for costume jewelry and accessories. CRUISE LUGGAGE TAG HOLDERS
Sure, you can staple them, but you can also wait an extra three hours for your bags to come because said staples fell off during the flight and no one knows whose luggage they’re dealing with. These cruise luggage tags are a great way to protect your tags, and can be used over and over again. CRUISE CABIN POWER STRIP
The typical stateroom as two outlets. The typical family has approximately 7,493 items they need plugged in at any given moment. Let mom dry her hair, charge her phone and the kids iPad by bringing along a power strip. WRINKLE RELEASE SPRAY
Ya know what doesn’t mix? Cruise ships and fire. Which is one of the reasons finding an iron on board is nearly impossible. Look your best by bringing along some wrinkle release spray. WET / DRY BAG
This will come in super handy during excursions, especially those that involve both land and sea adventures. You’ll also use this wet/dry bag again as you head home, as there’s a lot of moisture on cruise ships, so things do not dry very fast. Save yourself the soggy luggage and invest in a wet dry bag.
